In Sendero GPS 3.5, you can in factcopy routes or POIs created by the
BrailleNote
to a text file. That file can then be embossed or printed. What we can't do
yet is
to create a tactile graphic of the route, which would be really nice. The
TMap project
at Smith Kettlewell does exactly this, creating tactile maps.

Hello David and list:
I think the vendors of the GPS devices simply haven't thought of
printing out a route. They envision their equipment being with the user
when he/she travels. Vendors could add options to print out maps as well.

Robert Jaquiss

I see no reason why sandaro or trekker could not be caused to output this
information in a more permanent form. I can already retravel a path I
have taken whethher by root or just wandering with trekker but all I get
is the information from the labels available on the map.
