on February 27th, 6:30- 9:30PM.*
Photos from the *Seeing with Photography Collective*, a groundbreaking group of visually impaired photographers, are being exhibited at Soho Photo through March 3rd. Not only will audience members be able to see the group’s stunning photos, they will be able to participate in creating photos themselves with the photographers! *Between sets of music, performed by composer/pianist Daniel Kelly’s award-winning quartet, the collective will create their “light paintings” with audience members.

Also, at the same event, Daniel Kelly, recent *winner of the 2007 Chamber Music America/ASCAP Adventurous Programming Award* releases his latest CD *Duets with Ghosts* which features Daniel’s quartet – piano/keyboards, electric guitar, bass and drums - intertwining old archival recordings such as interviews with his great-grandfather and folk music recordings made by Alan Lomax, with a new world of innovative music that that flows freely between jazz, rock and classical. This conversation between the quartet and the “ghosts” takes its listener on an aural journey to the forgotten past and back again, mining for connections to a history filled with ghosts. On February 27th, the quartet will perform new work featuring the voices of various members of the Seeing with Photography Collective. 

Admission will be $5 for the event.
