Hi, thanks for your help. There must be an easier way to move and object.
Has anyone worked out how to resize an object? Please let me know. Take
care, Keren

From what I see Keren, you have to select it under tools, cut and paste
under edit to move it. It isn't very precise, but I worked with the
grid---it was a little easier. J :)

Hi, I too tried the QuickTac, also no manual to be found. Has anyone worked
out how to select and move an object, yet? If so, please let me know.
Many thanks, take care, Keren

Hi,
Have just made a quick try of the new QuickTac (nee QikTac). Very
interesting. The user interface is more like Windows.
Anding text is an interesting feature. There is a seperate window for
this, where you can see the braille you are writing. In addition you can
also put in embossed print text for people that don't read Braille. You
get to chose the font from a drop down menu- that has all the fonts are
your PC. That means you can use things like wingdings. That is for each
letter you type you get a symbol instead. So by using fonts that are
symbols you can get a lot of ready made tactiles.
I have made fonts that are pictures, and I tried that font out. Did not
work too well. But think if fonts are designed with using this QuickTac
feature, might be able to expand suitable picture fonts. The picture
fonts I made worked OK for swell and Tiger. Is perhaps a question of
resolution.
Couldn't find an instruction manuel. The help window is still being worked
on. It is pretty easy to figure out what is what.
Page formating was also nice.
Regards,
Lisa
