Great news from BlindArt! They have started a forum and am forwarding the information about it.

For artists we have created a section where they  show art, promote events,  share news and connect to like minded artists and public.

Also some encouraging / inspirational stories on artist interviews on http://forum.blindart.net/forum8-resource-centre-art--visual-impairment.aspx

For museums, public galleries and art organizations we have created a section where you can upload upcoming events, share news and connect to like minded organizations, artists and public who share our common vision of Cultural Inclusion.  

In the past two years BlindArt has been receiving  numerous queries about artistic events for visually impaired people. The vast majority of these are from individuals (or their friends, relatives or carers) who have recently lost their sight and would like to explore new opportunities to be involved in art.  This section hopes to serve as a one stop information centre on what is happening in the arts for sensory impaired people.  

We think it is best if organizations upload  their own events (as opposed to BlindArt Admin uploading them for you) so that any queries will come back directly to you. However, if you like us to upload events on the forum for you please email us the details at admin@xxxxxxxxxxxx
