Hi Folks,
I've been away for 2 weeks and am now just catching up on 230 emails!
I have written two astronomy books that are in Braille and Large print -
both have tactile illustrations.
Touch The Stars II (a revised version of the original Touch The Stars)
was published in 2002 and is available directly through National
Braille Press. Touch The Stars covers general astronomy topics including
constellations, planets, moon phases, eclipses, galaxies and a history
of astronomy discovery.
Touch The Universe: A NASA Braille Book of Astronomy was published in
2002 by Joseph Henry Press and is available through Joseph Henry Press
(a division of the National Academies Press) or through Amazon.com.
Touch The Universe reveals objects of the universe as seen by the Hubble
Space Telescope, starting at Earth orbit and traveling to one of the
most distant views of a cluster of galaxies, as seen by Hubble.
Touch The Sun has not yet been published.
Sincerely,
Noreen Grice
