Exhibit focuses on art by visually impaired
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Art Center, 820 E. 67th St., will offer a
multisensory exhibit, Shooting Blind: Photographs by the Visually Impaired,
Friday-June 11.
The exhibit shows that photographic artistry is possible regardless of
disability. Activities include Braille painting, paint what you feel,
textural collage, pinhole camera and ceramics.
Cost: $2.50 for a guided tour, $10-$25 for hands-on activities with the
guided tour.
A public reception will be 6-8 p.m. May 5. Cost: $5 to nonmembers, free to
members.
