Are you a disabled filmmaker? Have you written,
directed or produced a film? 

Would you like to have it screened at the UK’s biggest
and most accessible Disability Film Festival? 
  
The 7th Disability Film Festival is open for
submissions from disabled filmmakers 
- if you’ve made a film (any format, any subject), we
want to see it! 
  
The London Disability Arts Forum (LDAF) produces the
annual Disability Film Festival, now in its seventh
year. The 7th Disability Film Festival will be at the
National Film Theatre, London, from the 30 November to
4 December 2005.

The Festival screens the work of disabled filmmakers
and collaborative work where the creative process is
led by disabled artists. 

LDAF uses the term disabled people to include people
with physical, visual or hearing impairments, people
with learning disabilities and mental health system
users or system survivors. We work with the social
model of disability, which sees the attitudes, town
planning and environments of society as creating
barriers to equality. Disability Arts refers to work
by disabled artists in all art forms that contains an
individual or collective response to the experience of
living in a disabling world. Disability Film is work
solely or collaboratively written, directed or
produced by disabled artist/s.

The submission deadline for films is Friday 29th April
2005. There is no entry fee required.
