Press the home button and listen for the message to unlock the screen. You may only hear the time spoken. Touch the screen just above the home button and then double tap to unlock the screen. At the bottom of the screen in the right-hand corner you should hear app store. Move left until you get to Safari. Move along the bottom of the screen until you hear bookmarks. Double tap the bookmarks button. Begin flicking to the right on the screen with your index finger as though you were getting rid of a piece of dirt on the screen. You should eventually hear user guide spoken. Double tap at that point. I am not sure if you need to be connected to the Internet to make this work but I don't think so. I am not sure how you will need to deal with the screen asking you to connect to a network if one pops up. You may need to look for a cancel or dismiss button. hth _____ From: accesscomp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:accesscomp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pat Hart Sent: Monday, March 14, 2011 1:28 PM To: accesscomp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [accesscomp] Re: I Phone help I have a charger and knew about the USB port on the computer, and the I tunes.. Do you have iTunes installed on your computer? You will need that as well. _____ From: accesscomp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:accesscomp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pat Hart Sent: Sunday, March 13, 2011 10:25 PM To: accesscomp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [accesscomp] Re: I Phone help Well thank you, but I don't even have the Y Fi connection chosen on it yet, my son told me I have some time to do that, just o get used to the touch screen and learn the user guide for now, will it hurt it to charge it when it gets low then? He siad it charged off my home computer, but he also said it had to be linked to my router on my desk top computer, tht I had to get the router pen number and get tht logged in to the I Phone where it said to choose a ATT connection, so does it hurt to charge it until I can get that done, or what?I guess it charges off your YFi at home when it is linked to the router you have and until then I have to charge it when it gets low, is tht right or am I not clear on that.. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jamie Pauls <mailto:jamiepauls@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: accesscomp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, March 13, 2011 10:06 PM Subject: [accesscomp] Re: I Phone help The best advice I can give you is to take a few deep breaths and take it nice and slow. Using a touch screen with VoiceOver is different than anything you will ever do, but I promise you it is possible and you will find yourself loving the device before you know it. Again, baby steps are the key. _____ From: accesscomp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:accesscomp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pat Hart Sent: Sunday, March 13, 2011 10:01 PM To: accesscomp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [accesscomp] I Phone help Hey list, My typing was terrible on kthe I Phone help questions, but was trying to type fast as I had a lot of questions and explaining to do in it, hope you can understand what I typed, sorry, but was desperate for some help with this..Got carried away and typed too fast I guess.I just forgot to edit it before I sent it out, sorry, Pat
