There are two tips today. First is how to stop automatic playing of videos
and mp3's on a Mac.
Next is directions how to access an extensive list of Windows Shortcuts for
Seven, 8.1 and Ten.

*stop videos from playing on a mac from safari
1. Go to system preferences of safari on the general tab
2. Tab to a checkebox that states "stop videos from playing from safari"
and uncheck by pressing the spacebar.
Note, if this is unchecked, any files downloaded will still be zipped. So
you would have to unzip them before playing them.
safari, automatically unzips items, even on BARD book downloads.
Everything is placed in the download folder located in your home group.
Discontinuing Automatic playing of mp3's can also be done in the same
manner.
When an audio file downloads, VLC Media Player will automatically start
playing the file. Pressing space will pause or stop the file from playing.
The above is what works for an avid Mac User who prefers to remain
anonymous. I genuinely appreciate their input.
