Hi Damon, Very simple. The H1 is better because it is much harder to overload the mics. With the DM5 this is very easy to do. All the best Steve -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Damon Sent: Tuesday 14 September 2010 23:13 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: zoom h1 worth it? But he also explained that, annoyingly, the menus toggle round so counting wouldn't help much. I've heard the quality of the h1 and the olympus and I can't tell a lot of difference. Can someone here be a bit more specific as to why they think the H1 is better? Much appreciated. ----- Original Message ----- From: "john coley" <johncoley@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, September 14, 2010 11:00 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: zoom h1 worth it? > Granted, the auto gain isn't particularly quick to adjust, but as to the > question of preamp noise Neil Ewers remarked on how quiet it was.
