Hi Brian, last night I tried the new version of youtube downloader but I
couldn't work out how to convert files using it. I didn't try hard I'd have
to say. However, if conversion is important to you I can send you the older
version installer I have here.

I swear by youtube downloader from
http://youtubedownload.altervista.org
I even use it to convert some video formats and to extract audio from
downloaded video clips into MP3 formats to listen to on my Victor Stream!
Just be sure to uncheck the relevant boxes so not to install extra items
like the toolbar and Mcafee security if you don't want them.
