Note: This is not to be confused witht he Product ID that you can simply get on the General tab of the System applet. I looked for info on this a while back as I wanted to have my info handy and ended up paying a bit of cash for this handy wee program that will show you this info from, http://www.miscsoftware.com You may be able to see this in the registry as well but at the time I didnt' have time and love this wee app that shows the info and allows you to copy it to the clipboard so you can save to a txt file.
