this is only my personal view and the way I deal with this on my own
machines, but I delete everything in this folder that's visible if there are
hidden files, I don't see them by default so don't remove them. none of my
machines have come to any harm by doing this.

Subject: [access-uk] windows\temp
Hi all
Can someone please explain the reason for files that go to the:
c:\windows\temp folder.
Is it safe to delete *all* such files that are there, or do some programs
need to use some of those files.
Even my Norton 2004 seems to have some files in the temp folder.
Is temp like a rubbish dump in that any program may put file there,
after
the program has been closed etc.
Regards,
Derek
