Hi Simon

I'm still having problems trying to run win mx. I've added the lines of
text in to a notepad doc and saved it where you said but still can't
download using a primary connection, only a secondary one. I am using the
MS firewall and that's all set up properly so think this must be a
hardware
firewall issue as there's one in my broadband router. I've read the stuff
on the win mx site about port forwarding but don't really follow it. Is
there something straightforward I can do to sort this out as really want
to
use win mx. Have thought about changing my router to a vigour 5600 but
this
is a bit drastic. Cheers!

Graham

ok try this, when you first start the program, type in a well known artist
and try and download from a lot of sources.
it may be that they have a slow connection there end. what you got the
bandwidths set at? and have you checked the 2 boxes under the throttles?
