Hi Steve,
I use Quick Mix. http://www.ptpart.co.uk/quickmix/
I am not sure if it will run in Vista.
HTH.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] which audio application do I need?
Hi listers
I seem to remember that a useful application was discussed on this list
which I now need to use on my computer.
The application was a small program that on start-up changed your audio
settings back to their original saved settings. I now need this as my
cleaning lady keeps pressing the top of my new SoundBlaster live external
soundcard and muting the volume. So if I could just do a quick restart the
audio would always be re-initialised with the volume not muted.
