[access-uk] Re: when is the new Braille coming out as I have had some information

But many people who do have such problems *do* continue to read braille, and
find electronic braille much easier and more suitable. For you personally,
you would find much more to read if you downloaded E-books onto your
BrailleNote or whatever it is you have and read them as well as your hard
copy braille. I don't think braille will ever die completely, but I do think
its use will change remarkably over the next few years.

Cheers
Dave

Hi Carol
YOu said that "some people become diabetic and
lose the sense in their hands or suffer strokes or have a back injury."

True, and that's why I did say, and I quote:

"Note I am of course aware many people not able to read Braille.
I am talking about those that can read Braille, but choose not to."

What concerns me is this.
As more and more hearing blind refuse to read braille by choice,
this is going to mean the likes of RNIB SBP and NLB will stop
Braille production. and where will that leave those that depend on
Braille 100$%
