[access-uk] what does a printhead look / feel like

Hi,
I have got some cleaning solution to clean the printheads in my printer.
However, I'm not sure what a printhead should feel like.
There's 3 pin like things sticking up when I remove the colour cartridge from
my Epsson printer and there's only 1 pin when I remove the black cartridg.
Are these 'pins' the printheads?
