hi Andy, unfortunately I'm after a washer drier as I have no line and there is nowhere to fix one.
I am currently looking at hoover, but they all have buttons and not dials like my old indersit.
thanks for yusef for the hotpoint info, I wonder if hotpoint have a number to enquire about there machines?

Hi there Simon.

Please don't start thinking of specialised washing machines or similar kitchen utilities, such as the talking microwave. You'd just be wasting your money. Ihave a Hotpoint washing machine; You know the one which has a dial which turns through the cycles. For example; A full wash is at 10. o'clock and it ends at 5 o'clock. All I need do is place a bump-on at 10 o'clock, and press the wash button. And the wash process goes through 10 o'clock to 5'oclock. All I need do then is hang out the washing. You can get Bump-Ons from your Rehabilitation Officer or from the RNIB.

I manage all of our washing this way and if I can do it so can anyone else. And it's cheaper than buying a specialised machine.

Best wishes.

Andy

hi list, well as my washing machine has really decided to give up the ghost now, can someone remind me about the companies that design tactile panels for washing machines should I need such a requirement?
I thought I kept the post but I can't find it from last year I think it was.
cheers!
