Hi Graham, I bought a hotpoint washer drier in 2004, its still going fine
now. Its all push buttons that you can feel and dials that make distinctions
when they turn. The dial is turned to point at the particular program you
want.

There were 2 main issues with it however.

1. It took hotpoint over 6 months to come out and put the Braille pannel on
and provide me with an audio CD. If I'd known it was going to take that long
I could have got someone else to sort it out for me.

2. The drier took forever. I only ever half filled the machine and it still
took much longer to dry even thin garments like ti-shirts and underware.

I spent around 250 pounds on it, but think unless your prepared to spend a
lot more on a washer drier the drier won't be up to much. But thats just my
experience. Definitely go and look in the shops and read reviews online.
HTH
