[access-uk] Re: washing machines

You might be better off buying something used, about 10 years or so. Moffet and Kenmore are good, but not sure if they are available in the UK. Often the older models have the clickable dials, but I think that most of the new units are very digitalized and you would need sighted assistance in learning how to use it. Hope this helps.

Hi
I know this comes up regularly, but I am looking for a fairly basic washing machine which is V.I. friendly. I do not need loads of programs, just a no 
frills washer, not a dryer.
I do not particularly need braille markings. Something with push buttons or 
clickable dials would do.

any recommendations on current makes or models would be appreciated.
