Hi Graham, They way I've got around this is just to add another file extension to the end of the file name. It seems to be .exe and .zip files it doesn't like. Obviously, the recipient then needs to remove the extra file extension. Aftter a bit of playing around I have stopped using MSN messenger and gone back to Windows messenger. On the whole I find MSN Messenger slows down the PC and windows messenger does all I want with the exception of letting me know when I have new mail in my hotmail account. However, Windows Messenger blocks sending and receiving of certain file types it considers dangerous. I have looked for a fix for this on the net but found nothing so far. Anyone any ideas?
