Hi Trace.
An E-Cheque is basically a non guaranteed payment, which means that the
funds have to clear from your bank account before PayPal will pay the
seller, just like a cheque. You need to complete the verification processes
and link a backup credit or debit card to your bank account before PayPal
will do instant bank transfers as a purchase payment method.
All the best, Ibrahim.

order through this afternoon. worked ok.
was a little upset to find out that my order won't bedespatched till the
funds have cleared, i've linked mybank account and so thought it went
through right away. it said it was an e cheque or something. never come
across one of those before, hope the bank won't charge me for it

Hello trace,
It worked OK for me several times earlier this week by just
pressing ENTER on the by now button. Have you tried
activating it with spacebar or by simulating a left mouse
click on it?
If the above does not work, perhaps you need to update your
version of the Flash player and/or check that JAVA is turned
on in such as Tools, Options, Advanced in Internet Explorer
if you use that.
HTH,
John.
