[access-uk] Re: upside down screen

If your friend has a look in the notification area by pressing INSERT+F11 there will probably be an icon there for his graphics card such as ATI or NVidia. if they then right click on it there will probably be a menu that will come up, and one of the options will be 'Rotate'. This needs to be set back to normal as it is probably on 180 degrees at the moment. Once they have done this, go back to the same menu and there may be an option for 'hot keys' In there it will possibly allow you to disable the hotkeys as that's probably how this has happened, because they have knocked the hotkey that rotates the screen.

If they can't find the icon in the notification area then they need to make sure that their inactive icons aren't hidden by going to the start menu properties.

Failing that, go to control, panel, and bring up the display settings and go to the settings tab. Then I think advanced and you should be able to get to the grpahics card software that way instead.

Subject: [access-uk] upside down screen

Hi all,

This is not my problem, but a friend needs to know the answer and I recall
it being discussed a while back.

Apparently his screen is displayed upside down. I know he is using Jaws 10,
but I am not sure whether he has Vista or windows XP. If anyone can help
him turn his screen around, please let me know.

Thanks, and a happy new year to one and all.

David
