Hi Alex

But people are already asking about these sorts of problems on the two
iphone lists, aren't they? So yet another list?

Larry, it is to do with the ipone as it relates to how I get a keypad while
on a call.

Also with regard to the list it would take a lot of clutter off the
access-uk list which is only of interest to a fairly small subset of the
membership.

Cheers

Hi Alex

With regard to Orange that would be down to a specific Telecoms company
which is really nothing to do with the iphone. I still think that the two
lists, which I'm sure I've seen you on should be able to deal with most
iphone queries and personally don't think there is a need for another "uk"
specific list as all the issues faced by you with regard to voicemail etc.
would also be brought up on those lists as a general problem.

Setting up yet another list just adds another splinter to two excellent list
and I'm thinking you might instead want to set up some sort of Mobile
Providers type of list where you can discuss problems you might have with a
particular Mobile provider?

There are two Talks lists, a universal one and another relating to the Uk
and to be honest I've not seen anything specific on the UK Talks list that
actually warrants a separate list for the iphone as most topics on the UK
Talks list come up on the Universal Talks list and just means information is
being duplicated.

If you still feel you need to set up another list for i-devices then feel
free and of course I will join.

Since there's been a lot of discussion of ipods iphones ipads etc. on this
list, what do people think of the idea of setting up a uk list for idevices?
I'd be quite happy to do it on freelists if anyone wants me to.

Cheers

Alex
