It was actually John who needs typewriter ribbons but he will probably have read your message. I'm just digging in the old memory bank to find how we used to change ribbons in emergencies in the old days.

As a alast resort why not buy a ribbon of the same size
irrespective of the make and wind it on to your existing
spools.
