[access-uk] Re: two pack patience playing cards

I think I have what you want. I bought a few games off another VI person last
year and haven't used them. I'll dig them out and send them to you for
nothing. Send me your address to:
bbinc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Subject: [access-uk] two pack patience playing cards

  Hi All,
I know, highly untechnical this, should have put o.t. in the subject line
but then lots of you would have filtered my message out and I want to catch
as many u.k v.ip.s people as I can with this...
Let me explain... a long time ago, long before I owned a pc, I bought from
the rnib a wooden patience board with indented squares on one side and long
rectangular ones on the other and a specially made two pack braille playing
cards to play all sorts of patience games on it.
The other day, because the pc wasn't cooperating as well as I'd like,I got a
sudden urge to play a few games of patience in the old-fashion wayand
discovered, to my dismay that the wooden patience board had followed me from
the uk to Belgium and to France but that the two pack specially made cards
  had not.
Can't find any reference about this product on the rnib catalogue of
products, looks like playing patience is not on demand these days.
Would anyone have the patience board and two pack playing cards I'm talking
about and, not requiring them anymore would be prepared to let me have the
cards? I'd pay for them, a reasonable price of course, although sending the
couple of pounds I'm thinking about would probably cost me more than them...
  anyway could send a cheque...

  Looking forward to any reply...

  Cheers now,

  Marie
