Hi Trace,

You would, but you wouldn't get all the nice extra channels, like Sky one,
Sky Movies, etc. Freeview is pretty naff at channel line up.

No using sky plus LOL

Don't you pay more per month for that?

my ancestors should come from Scotland LOL not ireland.

Would you be able to do this with Nebula for no extra charge and no monthly
fees?

Hi Tracey,

Where have you been in life? <Smile>. Sky Plus allows you to record =
two
things and watch a third, so it's been here for ages. It is good though
that this Network Attached Storage device is being released, because you
won't even need a PC switched on in the house to record.

Sounds interesting, near impossible to record two things at once with =
this
digital stuff, that in itself is worth further investigation.

where can you get these things from?

nebula make a usb device which requires power via a mains transformer =
as
well as a good digital signal from your aerial.

The device costs around =A370. The software is very accessible and very =
good.
If you want to record two programmes simultaneously, you will need an
additional usb slave unit, which costs around =A350.
