Hi.

My brother uses a similar though much more simplistic device called Call
Blocker, www.callblocker.co.uk. It’ll block all nuisance calls as it works on
the premise that automated dialler systems like those used by call centres cant
dial touch tone numbers while on a call, thus your phone never even rings
unless the person can actually dial on a keypad. No interfaces, no fiddly menu
systems or subscriptions to websites required and it does just as well as the
competition.

All the best, Ibrahim.

fifteen quid ain't bad, considering it's an add on to the main thing. yes the
disability rights side of me says, prove a disability which means you can't see
the screen, and you get subscription to the web interface free, but the other
side says, that ain't bad for a mainstream product.

HI, Yes, the web interface is totally accessible and is a good idea for
entering numbers you absolutely know that you want to get through or that you
know you don’t. The web access is freee for the first year and then it costs
£15.00 per year, not too bad for the way it works. You can also see who has
tried to call you and can block them from doing so again or allow them if the
machine has mistakenly not let them through.

I am totally blind, I note the bumph spoke of a web interface, is that totally
accessible? or is the unit itself accessible to one who can't see a thing?
thanks.

HI Ron.

I recently took the plunge and got one of these machines. I have honestly not
received one sales call since. You will sometimes get a call with a dead line,
where the machine has mistaken the sales call disconnecting with someone
leaving there name, but that is nothing to the deluge of sales calls I used to
get from anyone and everyone! I would thoroughly recommend this device despite
its cost.

Hello folks, while looking up some information on my home phone I came across
this device. I am wondering if anyone out there is using it. It will block
unwanted calls and only lets in calls you want. You make two lists one for
your friends and family and one for marketing or nuisance calls. It has other
good features and the only drawback is that it costs £85. Amazon sell it but
the Website is.....

www.truecall.co.uk

Cheers

Ron
