David, you definitely can't send them over as business cards.  I tried that
and I never received one, so don't bother with that method.  I was told by
O2 that you can't transfer your contacts from Nokia to iPhone in the normal
way you would between Nokia handsets.  I just did it manually, I couldn't be
bothered messing around and I set myself a goal of doing so many per day and
did it.

Thanks - I don't relish the idea of transferring 250 contacts manually!
