Well the acquires of a satellite fix is so much faster.
when in built up locations one tends to loose a fix. With this
receiver this hardly happens at all. thirdly the receiver has a
switch to switch on and off much better for a blind person.
the receiver is very small indeed.
the battery life is ten hours.
