Hi

I've got a bit of a funny story about a talking weather barometer to share. A
few years ago, I was looking for a novelty present to give to my then husband
Ian. I came across this talking barometer weather thing from John Lewis and
ordered it. When it arrived, I was a bit puzzled by how small the box was. I
just wrapped it up and put it away. On Christmas morning, I gave Ian the box,
and he was completely bewildered by its contents. My son, who was opening his
own gifts, exclaimed in excitement: "Hey dad, you've got an Ipod what you doing
with one of them if you can't see it"?

They had actually sent me out the Ipod instead of the weather barometer but
charged me the price of the barometer. My son, desperate to have the Ipod, had
it instead, so Ian never got his talking weather barometer in the end as we
left well alone. (chuckle). I have no idea how it happened as the codes on the
invoice and on the Ipod box were identical.

The bottom line? I never saw the talking gadget, but there definitely used to
be one!!
