Hi Henry,
Cobolt do a timer clock.  It's similar to the calendar clock but has 
countdown timer and stop watch.  You can have the timer function without the 
automatic announcements and press a button to announce time remaining.  It's 
a while since I had one of these so not sure which button it is, but I know 
it does what you want.
