Hi Trace,

That is easy to understand, because your Sonus is a radio. But there are no
radio parts in a central heating boiler, or at least, there wasn't when I
last looked.

Hi Peter,

So the radio interference is going to affect your heating, is it? First
I've heard of that one <Smile>.

I baught one of these devices a number of years ago, but as a radio
inthusiast, I found the amount of radio interference it generated
wasterrible.

Hi Kevin and Trace,

Kevin, my dad, an electrician, simply put a plug socket in for me,
that connects the Cobolt Talking Timestat to our central heating, so
that's what we use now.

Hi

Ours is like a timer with tiny pin thingies that you have to have the
one way or the other and then there's this other one you have three
positions for, off, timed and constant, its horrible as its so small
and fiddly and I'm sure it'd break as soon as you look at it.

hi all, the control panel for the central heating system in our new
house is an upto the minute nasty digital contraption, totally
inaccessible! is there such a thing as a talking thermostat or
similar we could replace this nasty control panel with so we can use
such functions as the clock, timer etc for the heating?
