I have used both Sygate and Kerio but come back every time to Zone Alarms. I
know they had a terrible reputation for being inaccessible to screen readers
but have heard they have improved no end. I use magnification and colour
contrast with my residual vision so don't have those problems but I feel
it's worth a trial to see if it has in fact improved.

Hi Kevin. I use SPF, however since the Symantec take-over, people are avoiding that one. There's been a lot of mention regarding Kerio Personal Firewall: http://www.kerio.com/us/kpf_home.html
I believe this is also on the verge of changing hands, if it hasn't done so
already.
