HI JIM, IT DEPENDS ON THE SKYPE VERSION.
ALT - C TAKES YOU TO THE CALL MENU, IN THERE YOU WILL FIND AN ITEM ANSWER. IF YOU ARROW TO THE RIGHT ON IT IT WILL NAME THE CALLER. PRESS ENTER ON THE NAME TO CONNECT. YOU SHOULD ENABLE THE HOT KEYS, AND THEN YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO USE HOT KEYS LIKE 
ALT - PAGE UP TO BEGIN A CALL
AND
ALT - PAGE DOWN TO END A CALL.

I've been trying to get skype set up. I can make outgoing calls but i haven't found out yet how to accept incoming calls.
