I agree completely with you Steve but it's a lot more expensive mate.

Hi Jackie,

If you have Telewest in your area, it would be worth you looking at them if
you like speed. They leave Sky in the dust! Residentials can now get a
theoretical 20 MB down speed with Virgin Media. I as a business get a 10MB
down speed, but it regularly reaches 9.2MB, so I am far more happy with
fibre optic than DSL.

All the best

Steve

Hi Billy

I don't like capping either, but for a fiver a month, I can't see even us
three using 40GB.

We have Telewest in our area, which is the equivalent. Haven't looked into
their prices lately. I know with Sky that we need a BT landline for the
ADSL service.

Jackie, don't you have Virgin Media in your area?.

I must admit it has been years since I first looked into Sky, and that
time it was pretty expensive, and you had to have a BT line going into
your home.
Don't you need such a BT line anymore?.

The only thing I don't like about Sky broadband, is the monthly cap.
With Virgin Media there is no monthly capping,
Billy
