Hi Terry
What I do, and have always done successfully, is do an alt D to bring up the
address bar, then press the home key to ensure I am at the beginning of the
URL. Then I use control, shift and end keys to select the whole address, and
then control C to copy to the clipboard.
Now that works for me always, whether it's right or not! (smile.)

Subject: [access-uk] selecting and copying a web address
HI all
Okay, I know this is simple, but its not when you don't know how.
I know the key stroke insert and letter A pressed twice will allow me to read
the current url, but I don't seem to be able to select and copy to the
clipboard. I tried pressing the shift key with the end key, pressing shift
control and right arrow, then control and C, but its not happening for me.
What is the correct method for doing what I want to do.
Just to be clear, I want to be able to highlight, select, copy and paist the
web address of a page that I'm currently on.
Thanks for any help.
Terry
