Hi Ali, My guess is that when you lost your registration, you didn't deactivate JAWS. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. I had to reformat my laptop and lost one registration and had to reregister, leaving me with no remaining. I must check this again. Thank you. -------------------- Ali _____ From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steve Nutt Sent: 05 July 2006 11:53 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: remove product activation of Jaws Hi Ali, Either should be the same. If you remove an activation from the Internet, then your count on the computer will increase by one. If you remove an activation from your hard disk and put it on your auth disk, the effect is the same. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. No, as I understand it, provided you deactivate JAWS, you get the key back, then when you reactivate, you should lose nothing. As I wrote ten days ago, I can not uninstall Jaws 6.2 version. Only this version. I tried all the options, believe me and also used the instructions of FS, by editing the registry, and still can not remove Jaws 6.2. I decided to reformat my C: Drive only and to reinstall a fresh version of win xp pro OS. My question: If I use: "remove product activation" before I am doing this reformat, and then Jaws will run as demo, in my pc. Then, I reformat my C: drive to reinstall my fresh xp OS, and then, I install Jaws again, do I lose one key for it, when I use the reactivation of Jaws? It's only done in my private xp pro machine. Thanks to any output here.
