Hi David,

It is possible that the PDF simply contains a scanned copy of the
manual, and so there is not actually any convertible text in it. We hit
this problem quite often with the braille bureau.

George.

Subject: [access-uk] reading pdf files

Hello all

sorry to bring up this old chestnut!

I have just downloaded a piece of hobby software which has a 242 page
=2EPdf manual which I don't seem to be able to read with acrobat 5, jaws
5.0.621.

I am sure that I have read pdf files previously with this combination.

Any help welcomed?

David
