Hi Andy, I looked at that, but no joy.  It seems as if outlook express has
messed up totally.  I even tried repairing jaws to see if I'd done something
to the scripts, but I haven't.
 
it's an intresting one this, however, I'm getting used to ms outlook now.

Not had to do this for a while, but do you not go into Control Panel /
internet options / Programs and click on reset internet options?
