[access-uk] Re: problem with pdf file

It sounds like this is a problem with the security settings
on the file. You can check this by pressing Shift+ctrl+6. This will tell you
whether the security settings allow the file to be handled in such a way
that it can be rendered by a screenreading program. If you haven't already
got it, it might be worth updating to the latest version of Adobe Reader. If
all else fails, the supplier should be able to fix the file such that you
can read it.

Hi List,
I received a pdf file from the open university but when I go to open it I
get an "alert, protection failure" message. Does anyone know what this
problem is and how I can access this file?
