[access-uk] problem on net passport website

I need to reset my password on the net passport website, I find I have to listen to numbers because of the dreaded characters in a picture. I make a careful note of the numbers and type them on the edit field provided but the numbers don't get accepted, I get the message symbol error. Any of you tried using this lately with JFW 7? can anyone give me any clue about what I'm doing wrong or what could be the problem?
Thanks for any help, I miss chatting on Messenger a bit so would love to get this resolved somehow.
