well i had the o.e. freeze the first time i used it today. and to alt
control del and "end task". seems fine now though.

AVG isn't the issue as far as I can tell. I've been using it for over
two
years now. Something weird does seem to have happened to Outlook
Express
though. My alt-gr key stops working when OE is in focus over the last
week,
plus I had the phantom messages which I ggot rid of by unchecking view
by
conversation.
