O.K. It must be something to do with AVG then!

I have noticed it happening from time to time ever since I downloaded Internet Explorer 7 on Sunday last. It only seems to happen once or twice a day, but it can be a pain when you're right in the middle of reading a message and it breezes up. Had hoped that the Windows Updates that came down this morning might have gone some way to curing it, but not so. It happened again just a few minutes ago.

AVG isn't the issue as far as I can tell. I've been using it for over two years now. Something weird does seem to have happened to Outlook Express
though. My alt-gr key stops working when OE is in focus over the last
week,
plus I had the phantom messages which I ggot rid of by unchecking view by
conversation.

Cheers
Dave
