Hello Marie,
The DSS software CD which comes with the recorder contains all the voice
files in a number of languages, including French, so it shouldn't be
difficult to install these onto the player. You shouldn't need to install
the software to do this. Make sure the player is in mass storage mode, it
will then come up as a drive in Windows Explorer. Just delete the English
voice files and replace them with the French ones. Hope this helps.
