Does that mean I don't have a suitable programme on this machine to deal with .odt files? Think of it as a portable Word document which can be opened in any Office suite on any OS. Word 2003 may be able to open it, or you may have to ask the user to save it in a text only file. Thanks. So, what then is an .odt file, and how do I access it? Andy -- This email has been verified as Virus free Virus Protection and more available at http://www.plus.net
