Hi Eleanor, This is hekpful; I'm just about to get an E7, so any info useful. I also have Mobile Speak; is that any more intuitive than Talks? Talks does not allow for this to be done on the keyboard so it is unfortunately a case of him having to locate by touch the number he requires for dialling an extension. The following may be of help. When you enter the phone number! After the last digit! Press the Star button 4 times quickly! This will put a W after the phone number. Now type in the extension, or what ever numbers you want. When done press SoftKey2 to save the information. Now when you select that contact to call it using that number! When the phone systems picks up! You can press SoftKey1 to have the phone dial the extension, or what ever numbers for you. ----- Original Message ----- From: Terry <mailto:terrycooper94@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 04, 2011 7:14 PM Subject: [access-uk] nokia E7 on screen key pad help needed. Hi all A very good friend of mine works as a volunteer for the RNIB, and has come across a issue with a particular problem, which he is struggling to help the talks user with. I'll paste his comments below, and if anyone can help, it would be very very much appreciated. It hopefully may also help others on the list. When he emailed this earlier, it made me smile, because I also have the same problem on my iphone, so if anyone also knows the answer to the same difficulty, but using an iphone instead, then this would be of great benefit to me. "I'm trying to help a chap at the moment with a Nokia E7 and Talks software. He's having a problem where he can make a call OK, but when he has called somewhere with a navigation system that needs digits pressed i.e. 1 for this department, 2 for that department etc. he can't find the keypad on the screen to send digits. I've got the manual for the software, but haven't found anything about this, it certainly isn't in the section on making a call. Any ideas"? Thanks as always. Terry
