Hi,

They are PCI cards, so it depends on how comfortable you are with
fitting these. You can also buy USB versions which don't need fitting.

Andrew.

thanks Andrew, but how difficult are the wireless cards to install, will
i be able to fit the card or will it have to be done in a computer
shop?.

        Hi,

You will need to get a ADSL wireless router and a wireless card.

        Andrew.

Andrew, I will be using ADSL for my connection.

I just want to be able to move my computer system to another
room, without miles of cabling.

I've heard getting a router would achieve this.

                Hi,

You need a BT line for ADSL, but Plusnet are usually
very good.

If you are thinking about a router, look at what you
want to do with the connection, since you will need a different router
if using ADSL or cable.

                Andrew.

Andrew, you are quite correct, I'm using a 2 MB cable
connection, but don't
like the fact, that my telephone & television are
through the same company.
I'm considering moving my broadband service to ADSL.

                Hi Billy,

Can you let us know of your current broadband situation
and
                requirements?

Are you using cable or DSL at the moment (I ask because
of the
Blueyonder address)? There is no other cable provider
in your area
other than the one you are with, so anything else would
have to be DSL
                through the BT line.

                Andrew.

                hi guys,
I'm on the look out for a new broadband provider.
Which ISP'S are providing the best services?.
