Hi all,
I have just installed xp sp2 on a separate drive and I am having
problems connecting to the net.
I have a vigor 2600 connected to the network card which works perfectly
under windows 2000.
I have downloaded the drivers from intel and ran the install.
In the xp internet setup, I choose the connect to the internet and the
always on option.
If I select the repair option, I get a message saying that an ip could not
be varified and it aborts.
As this works with 2k, I am assuming a driver problem. Where do I
check in xp to see if a network card is active?
This is an onboard network card.
Thanks
Keith
