Hi John, no it wouldn't. I wonder if the sensor's got dirty. Ok, that's a bit of a shot in the dark, but there isn't much more it could be, unless you've just got a Friday one. Is the battery ok?

                   John.

Hi John,
Well a big day tuning to-day but yes Heather who can see pointed the remote at the tele and she found it very difficult to get to responde. I rang the r n i b earlier off my mobile and they said no staff available until 4 30 pm to-day so I left a message but nobody got back. I just wonder if the correct code is in for the remote. surely though if it was the wrong code it would not work would it.?
anyway thanks for getting back will let you know what happens.
the tele is a brand new portable a tenicker from tescoe direct and the tele remote is loads more responsive. as I said you could press say the guide button or the menu button seven times with no response at all. strange one.
maybe the remote has a bad sensor on the end of it. thanks then.
