[access-uk] multiple clipboards

hi all is their only one clipboard in windows?
The reason I ask this some what strange question is, at work I have to have 
access to data for customers. What I would like to do is maybe highlight a bit 
of text and have it saved under say alt 1 in a clipboard. then shift alt 1 
would then paste that data somewhere else. BUt i'd like multiple copy slots if 
this makes sense, at the moment I have to take screenshots of a whole screen
